I stopped in to see Darin at Specialty Training to purchase a training package. He not only worked me out, he was able to share his knowledge and commitment to fitness in a way that inspired me. Seven years later I am still seeing Darin daily so apparently the lifestyle change was included in my package and I didn’t even know it. Fitness is now a normal daily routine for me much like picking up a cup of coffee and I would be miserable without either of them. Thank you Darin!
I began going to Specialty Training in November 2009. I considered myself an athlete but only performed aerobic exercise. Darin Rell introduced me to the sport of weight training. He is an excellent trainer. I have gained considerable strength and as a result have improved in road biking and skate skiing. Darin Rell is wholistic in his approach and offers guidance in developing a daily cross training exercise program. I strongly recommend Darin.

It has been said that the only person who can tell you ‘you can’t’ is you. That principle has been the foundation of my personal training with Darin Rell, owner of Specialty Training Inc. Together we have been transforming my body and my athletic performance to levels I didn’t realize I could achieve since 2004. An accomplished runner since the age of 22, I thought I was reasonably fit when I started training with Darin. Unfortunately though, I had never achieved my long standing goal of running the Boston Marathon. Several times I had come close but just never quite made it in the required time. Then I met Darin. Together we put in place a comprehensive strength training, running, and supplement regime for my next marathon. That October I finally qualified for Boston at the Chicago Marathon, a dream I would have never realized without Darin’s time, guidance, and wisdom. Since that time, I have qualified three more times for Boston.
How can you say thank you to someone who has literally shaped your life in every way? I never believed I could posses the strength I have, the definition my muscles have achieved, how I now look in my clothes, and all the compliments I receive on my appearance. All this for a three hour commitment that I make to Darin each week. I will never allow myself to go back to being the person that showed up at Specialty Training Inc.’s doorstep seven years ago. I love all of my muscle, and Darin of course, too much to ever stop my personal training with him. Thank you for everything you have done for me Darin, you truly have changed my life in so many positive ways I can never adequately thank you. This fall I will be 50 years old and I have never looked better. So when you think you can’t, remember you can.

I felt having a personal trainer was an expense that I didn't want or should not obtain. With this thought still in my mind I spotted one of Cindy's advertisements. I decided to make an appointment for a free evaluation. After spending an hour with her I realized that many of my frustrations and worries had to do with my weight, handling daily stress and not exercising I have been working with Cindy 2 times a week for the last 10 months. The results have been wonderful. My blood pressure and weight is continuing to go down. My flexibility improves each month, I am able to control my daily stress and enjoy an increase in energy. The monthly expense is nothing compared to what I have gained in my quality of life. Cindy is the greatest!!

I have been overweight and without energy or strength most of my life. I began a fitness-training program with Cindy 4 ½ months ago and have lost 13% of my body fat, about 10 inches and 12 pounds. I have tried every diet and quick fix in the book and can honestly say Cindy's approach, 'slow and steady win the race', and focusing on good aspects of eating and physical fitness has been the best thing I've ever done for myself.
